Within lessons children are given a variety of varied and rich activities to apply their learning. We use a range of equipment and resources to support children's understanding throughout KS1 and KS2. Through our teaching we aim to ensure children develop fluency, are confident reasoning and explaining their understanding and finally applying their knowledge to problem solve.
Each child has a unique log in to access the interactive program mathletics. The website, which covers all aspects of the curriculum, allows the children to practise their skills as well as compete against others. Children are unable to communicate with each other so it is a safe environment to continue their learning at home.

Our calculation shows the progression in children's learning. It is broken into the four operations and shows the development in understanding and recording of learning.
