School Council

The School Council regularly meet with Mrs McDonagh. Children from across the school represent their own class after being elected by their peers. They have a dedicated display in the school corridor and you can see some of the things that they have worked on this year. They also lead Class Council meetings and take whole school issues and ideas onto the School Council. They also share School Council ideas and decisions with their own class. Their purpose is to constantly look for ways to improve our school and have a real impact on learning and enjoyment!

This year school council along with their classes, chose Acorns as our charity of the year to support.

Mel, who works for Acorns came into school to talk to us about the work and support that Acorns do for poorly children and their families.

We raised a wonderful £120 at our enterprise fair and were lucky enough to present it to Mel.
